Brooks IHL Clinical Student Internship Program
Overview
The Brooks Clinical Student Internship program provides mentoring and patient based learning opportunities to PT/PTA, OT/OTA, SLP, Exercise Physiology, Recreational Therapy, and Case Management students. Depending on discipline, students can complete an internship at one of the Brooks Rehabilitation 38 outpatient clinics, in the 157 bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, the Bartram Park Center for Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Aging Services, in the Neuro Recovery Center, the Brooks University Crossing Skilled Nursing Facility, or within Brooks Rehabiliation's Community Health Programs. To view the Brooks Rehabilitation locations, please visit https://brooksrehab.org/locations/.
Brooks offers many specialties that students can experience to better prepare them for graduation. Upon graduation, many clinical student interns have been accepted to one of the six Brooks IHL Residency Programs, while others are gainfully employed by Brooks Rehabilitation.
