    Behavioral Treatment Strategies for Swallow Function

    This is an online course offering with no required start or end date. The course can be accessed at any time, and does not have to be completed in one sitting.

    This course will apply principles of exercise physiology to commonly used clinical techniques for oropharyngeal swallow rehabilitation.

    At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

    • State core principle governing strength training
    • Identify the principles of strength training and commonly used procedures used for swallow rehabilitation
    • Accurately select a treatment protocol based on evidence-based best clinical practices for patients with swallow dysfunction

    At the completion of the course, required forms must be returned to the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning to receive CE credit.

The ASHA Learning Assessment will appear at the conclusion of the presentation and is submitted electronically. The CEU Participant Form is available under "Event Resources" and should be returned to the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning once you have completed the course.
